Personal Statement
"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why". Those are the words of Mark Twain, it also is my favorite quote. I believe I was born to play Golf. From a young age, I always believed it to be my passion. Although some people are natural at this game, I always think of me as a person who worked for his ability. Practice does not make perfect, but it generates improvement. I still have much to learn and improve, but every range and putting session makes a difference.
My life does not revolve around Golf though. I like surfing and hanging out with friends. Going to the beach is one of the things I love. I also enjoy watching sports in the tv. Some of my favorites include Soccer, Formula 1 and Golf. I am a die hard fan of Real Madrid CF and Red Bull Racing. I love watching a lot of players golf, but no one beats Jon Rahm. I really like how he talks about how he used to get angry when he played bad. I sometimes deal with that myself but like him, I have learned to control it.
To finish off, my favorite thing about Golf is the competition. It is not like other sports, you cannot blame anyone for your loss (sometimes the caddy), apart from yourself. You are always trying to improve yourself and always trying to get better. Competing with myself is the most fun part of it all, and if it is not fun then why do it?
