I am a young golf player from Managua, Nicaragua. I started playing golf since I was 3, and I realized that golf was my passion. I graduated from High school in November 2021 and plan to start college in Fall 2022.
In December 2019 I was recognized as the best golf athlete of the year by the Nicaraguan Golf Federation, and I was also invited to play the Latin American Amateur Championship in January 2020. This June, I was invited to participate in Mexico International Amateur Tournament held in Torreón, Mexico. I finished 74/144. Currently, I have a +2 handicap.
My short-term goal is to sign with a school that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. My long-term goal is to become the first professional golf player from Nicaragua.
My best score in my home club during January 2022 was 68. Participated in the 2021 Congaree Global Golf Initiative (CGGI) — August 2021.
I played in Dominican Republic playing the Latin American Amateur Championship LAAC 2022
