Nikola Uskokovic '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nikola Uskokovic and I currently live in Johannesburg, South Africa where I attend the French International School. My college aspirations are to study in the US and at the same time to be a student athlete.
After spending 13 years at the French International School I have grown accustomed to the need of achieving academic excellence and I have learned to cope with challenging and intensive academic expectations throughout those years. As my high school syllabus included advanced programs in Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics, Chemistry), Natural Science (Biology and Geology), French, English and History, I have had to carefully manage my time in order to be able to study while finding time to play sport. Further to school academics, I currently speak four languages (English, French, Spanish and Serbian).
Although academics will undoubtedly be a very important part of my student life, another major interest of mine is golf. Golf is one of my passions, and since a very young age my ambition has been to become a professional golfer. My choice of University would therefore have to allow me to pursue my academic interests and at the same time to play golf.
