Personal Statement
To play golf competitively in Panama (where golf is not school sport) I became a member of the Panama Golf Association (Apagolf) in 2015 and since then I have played in at least 35 official ranking tournaments, 3 of them internationally.
Also, since 2015 I have on average improved 3 shots per 18-hole rounds every year and feel confident that I can maintain such level of improvement going forward, especially in a formal collegiate environment.
My lowest 18-hole score in official tournament-play was a 74 in October 2019 at the Copa Enrique Santos at the Guayaquil Country Club in Guayaquil, Ecuador. In this event I participated in the team's part of the tournament with another golfer from Panama.
For the past 4 years I have had the same golf coach who happens to be one of the on-site coaches of the Panama Golf Club where I am a member and where the Korn Ferry Tour (before as the Web.com Tour) has had an annual stop for many years now.
I have a relaxed competitive temperament which has proven to be a great asset in my individual golf game and also when playing as part of a team because I am able to help my fellow team members to perform at their very best during practice and tournament play.
