Personal Statement

Playing collegiate golf in the United States has been a dream of mine since I started playing the magnificent game. I've been a straight A's student since first grade, always stood amongst the top 3 amongst my class. I have a 4.0 GPA. I've been an active participant in extracurricular activities. Coming to the golf side. I've been playing since I was 10. It's been more then six years. I've participated in national tournaments in junior categories and amateur categories from the time I started. I have won many national tournaments in the game of golf as a junior and amateur. I've played in teams for my local club, school, county etc. I've always worked well with my team members and have always gotten along well. I hope to get a degree in Engineering from the United States. It's a dream of mines. My idol from the start has been the one and only, Tiger Woods. I also hope that one day I get to play on the PGATOUR and make my parents proud.

    • I used to be in the gifted program in second grade when I was in elementary school. I've been on a Merit Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance since 5th grade till 10th grade. I appeared in my CIE O level examinations in 10th and 11th grade and I achieved 8A stars and 1 A in these exams. I have recently received a full scholarship on account of my O level grades for 12th grade (A levels). I secured straight As in the AS level recently and am looking towards a good SAT score too.
  • Activity
    • I've been an active debater since middle school and participated and won in many debating and speech competitions in my school. I have actively done community service for the past three years. I've taken part in school plays and the drama club since seventh grade. I used to be Head Boy / Student Body President in ninth grade. I've been in the student body of my school from 6-9th grade in different positions.
