Personal Statement
Hi, I’m Adrian
I am 15 years old, Danish, living in a coast town called Horsholm 20 minutes North of Copenhagen (Denmark).
My passion is golf and I have played since I was 6 years when I was introduced to the game by my father.
Today I’m a plus Hcp player, a member of my club’s 1. Division Boys Team, and Men’s team as well.
I was recently selected for the Danish National team (Boys), development team.
Currently ranked in top 4 nationally (in my age group). I play both in Danish and international elite tournaments, and in June 2023 I won the US Kids European Championship (14 years group) at The Glen Golf Club, North Berwick, Scotland (score -10).
I’m very ambitious with my golf and work structured with focus on both the technical, physical, and the mental aspect of the game 5-7 days a week depending on the season.
My short-term goal in golf is to establish myself on the National team, be the No. 1 in my age group in Denmark, be in the winner circle in most Junior elite tournaments in Denmark and not out-side top 5. Furthermore, I plan to participate in more international tournaments and be competitive there as well, getting ranked on the European Junior Ranking.
My long-term goal is to get a Scholarship at a College in US having a NCAA I division golf team, get into competitive College tournaments and get listed on the PGA Tour University.
Intentionally make it a springboard for one day entering the PGA Tour.
Educational:
I’m will finish my 9th grade Primary School (Rungsted Private Realskole) in June ’24 and in August I will start on a 1 year Golf Academy study (https://www.isi.dk/efterskolen/linjeidraetter/golf) before joining a High School in 2025.
I 'm eligible to start my college journey from August 2028.
