PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have been playing golf for the past 13 years and have a lot of experience playing many tournaments all over Malaysia since I was 9 years old. Some of the junior circuits that I have played are Sportexcel Golf and Myfutures Junior Tour. I also have been representing my state, Negeri Sembilan in 2016,2017,2019, 2020 and 2022 National Schools Golf Championships. I have also been awarded as the best golfer in the state of Negeri Sembilan in 2019. My passion is to become a professional golfer and play on the PGA Tour. I spent at least three to four times a week working out and practicing golf.
I am currently a Form 5(Grade 12) student at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seremban 2. I always make sure I am focusing and excelling in my academics as it is more important than golf. I try my very best to catch up with the classes and homework that I miss when I go to golf tournaments. Besides that, I have had the passion to play the drums since I was 13 years old and I am now a Grade 6 drummer. I love music a lot because it's sometimes the only medicine to the heart and soul. Moreover, I put God first in my life by attending church on Sundays and reading the Bible every day as well as playing the drums for the worship team.
I have been dreaming and determined to get a golf scholarship and furthering my studies in the US since I was 14 years old. I wish to make it to the college golf team and play in the NCAA or NAIA. Furthermore, I also want to play college golf because I get to meet new people and have more friends while playing tournaments there. I would like to make my parents and country proud in the future.
