Personal Statement

My name is Vegas Melén. I’m 22 years old from Helsingborg, Sweden. I’m 5’10” and 198 lbs.

I started playing golf at 18 years old. May sound weird since I grew up with a dad as a PGA Professional.

Fast forward 3 years, I shot 67 in the first round in my first pro event which I followed up with a 73 to finish T8.

I’ve had an exceptional progress during my 3,5 years in golf.

I’m looking to go to college in the fall of 2024 to help your team win tournaments and gain more experience in my golf game.

I’m hardworking, an easy learner, social & hungry for knowledge!
