Personal Statement

I am writing this personal statement to express my deep passion and commitment to becoming a professional golfer. For as long as I can remember, golf has been a fundamental part of my life. I have always felt at home on the golf course, and I am determined to turn my passion into a successful career.

My journey in golf began when I was just 3 1/2 years old. My father introduced me to the sport, and from the first moment I picked up a club, I was hooked. I spent countless hours practicing, honing my swing and improving my technique. As I grew older, my love for golf only deepened, and I became more determined than ever to pursue it at the highest level.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of competing in numerous tournaments and events, and each one has taught me valuable lessons about the sport and about myself. I have faced challenges and setbacks, but I have always used them as opportunities to learn and grow. Through hard work, determination, and perseverance, I have steadily improved my game and achieved significant success on the golf course.

I am now at a point in my life where I am ready to take my game to the next level and become a professional golfer. I am confident in my abilities and believe that with the right opportunities and support, I can compete at the highest level of the sport. I am willing to put in the hard work, sacrifice, and dedication necessary to achieve this goal.

Golf has been my passion and my purpose, and I am determined to make it my career. I know that the road ahead will be challenging, but I am ready to face those challenges head-on and to continue to learn, grow and improve as a golfer and as a person.

In conclusion, I would like to thank you for considering my application. I hope that you can see the passion and commitment that I have for golf and the potential that I have as a professional golfer. I would be honoured to have the opportunity to pursue my dream and represent your college as a professional golfer.

  • A.C.T Week of golf
  • 1/02/24 to 1/05/24
  • A very amazing experience playing this tournament. I am so glad i was put in some of the positions and conditions i was. I learnt so much about my game and myself playing. Through the first two days i had a 3 shot lead shooting -2,-4, However, this did not last long due to many variables. I had a massive blowout round which was extremely disappointing losing my lead. i shot +8, E, for my last two rounds. I was guttered to do so but it was a tournament were i learnt a tone from and super glad to have been able to. This gave me an overall of +2 and a Top 10 finish against the best juniors in Australia.
  • Camp/Event

I finished T15 versing Top 120 juniors in Australia and NZ. I was happy with how i performed. I learnt new skills playing in cold windy conditions on a 6800 yard course.

  • 1/17/23 to 1/20/23
  • This was my second time playing this event. The previous year i was the youngest in the field and missed the cut by one shot. This year my main goal was to make the cut and learn from some of the best amateurs. I played amazing shooting rounds +2,+1,E,+1 putting me in T22. The conditions were brutal with heavy rains in two rounds and winds picking up to 30 km/h. The course played 6707 yards.
