Personal Statement

I have set a goal of securing a golf scholarship at a college or university in the United States. I believe continuing my education in the USA will provide me with the very best opportunity to improve my golf skills, and learn life skills that will serve me well in any future endeavor I choose to pursue.

By the age of 9 I had participated in various sports including swimming, football, badminton, table tennis and finally golf. After playing in my first golf tournament and seeing the sense of pride and accomplishment by the winner, I chose to focus solely on golf and set my sights on winning and experiencing the same. I won my first tournament at age 10 and have been playing competitive golf for 7 years. During this time I've played in a totalof 94 tournaments, and have won 12 and placed in the top 5 in 50 of them.
