Sam Jermier '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Sam Jermier, and I thank you for spending your time on my page. I never started playing true competitive golf until the age of 12, but since then I've found a true love and passion for this game. It has taken me to a level of being a key contributor to the state championship team in the highest classification in the state of Iowa, and the 29th ranked high school golf team in the country.  My goals as a collegiate golfer would be to put my best on the line day in and day out, as well as pushing my teammates to be better so we can work as a unit, and generate success in the program we are committed to. What makes me a good candidate for any team that I'm apart of is that I'm coachable, will never stand down from a task that I'm asked to do, and I will always bring positive energy to practices and meets. I will also continue to make school a priority so coaches will never have to worry about ineligibility or any discourse in the classroom from me.  This year I was able to contribute in the state meet for Cedar Falls High School in my first state meet with a 2 day score of 158 (82-76). Last year, I was unable to participate in the last month of the season due to a fractured bone within my wrist. However, through these next months, I look forward to the recruiting process!
