Personal Statement

My name is Evan Smith from Knoxville, Iowa. I have been an avid golfer and started participating in Iowa Junior PGA events from the time I was 7 and now have won Iowa Junior PGA Player of the Year 5 different times for the age divisions I was participating in.

My team finished Runner Up in the 3A State Tournament in my most recent high school season. I placed 8th as an individual and received honors from 2nd Team All-Tournament, 1st Team All-State, and 3A Co-Player of the Year. My scoring average throughout the regular season was 69.71.

I'm looking forward to taking my golf game to the next level and am continuing to work on improving all areas of my game.
