I have always loved golf and it has been my main sport since day one. It has been a dream of mine to continue to play golf at a collegiate level. As I have gotten older I have become more serious about becoming a great golfer and this will only continue in my senior season. Last year was a bit of a tough year because of covid, so I didn't get many summer tournaments or practice and I didn't perform as well as I would've like to in my Junior Year. Golf has taught me how to persevere through tough times and keep a good mental state even when it is very hard. I also have met many great friends and have spent a lot of time on the golf course through my childhood and want it to stay that way for the rest of my life. I have had some great moments in my High School Golf career, including making State as a team freshman year and winning the Turk Bowman invite my sophomore year. This summer, I plan to play a lot of tournaments and improve a great deal for my Senior Season. With the work, I put in this summer I know I can see my scores become lower and lower through the year. I also have always been advanced in all my classes in school and make it a priority to do my best in the classroom. Almost all of my classes are college-level or advanced and I have maintained a near 3.9 GPA. I am especially advanced in Math having finished Calc 2 my sophomore year. I will have earned 40 college credits by the end of my junior year. I hope that in the future I will be able to continue to play golf at a high level while also never straying away from my academics and their importance.
