I'm a tall, athletic, intelligent young man. I enjoy both golf and basketball.
Over the past few years I have continued to improve in both swing, approach and mental aspects of the game. I have participated in competitive events and succeeded in consistently placing in the top 10 - in very competitive Iowa PGA and AJGA events. High school golf has allowed me to be a leader on a good varsity squad since being a freshman. The MAC conference has been very competitive - and I have consistently been a top performer every year.
To sum up my golf game - I have excellent power (still working on being a more consistent driver of the golf ball), solid iron player, and tremendous short game. Putting continues to be an area of focus - as that goes, so does my scoring.
I would love to major in engineering - along with playing college golf. I see it as a sport I can play for the rest of my life - and in college would be a tremendous addition to rounding out both my education and social aspect of the college experience.
