Colby Martin '20 Recruiting Profile

Many things have influenced me in my life, but none as much as my family and my love for the game of golf.   When I was 9 years old my father first introduced me to the game of golf and I immediately fell in love with the game.  Since then I have been on the course playing or practicing as often as I can.  The game helped me through one the most difficult times in my life.  After my Freshman year, our family relocated from Point Pleasant, WV to Lawrenceburg, KY.  I am a very quiet individual, but my participation in golf helped me meet new people and develop friendships.   It also taught me to look for the positives about new and difficult situations rather than focusing on the negatives.   My goal is to use my remaining high school years to develop fundamental knowledge and study skills to prepare me for pursuit of a college degree in exercise science and a career in physical therapy.
