Jude LeBoeuf '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jude LeBoeuf and I am a sophomore at South Lafourche High School in Galliano, LA.  Growing up in a small, family-oriented, bayou community has taught me a strong work ethic that carries over into the classroom and onto the golf course.  I have maintained a 4.0 average in high school.  Both my father and grandfather play golf recreationally and introduced it to at the age of 8.  After a few years of lessons and playing with them, I began playing competitively in middle school. Since I started playing, I always felt the need to practice as much as I could.  Success in golf takes both a strong work ethic and dedication. After I started playing, the work ethic translated to everything else in my life.  I never do things halfway. Of course, there are obstacles along the way that have to be overcome, but that is nature of the game. Every golfer has gone through rough stretches, but those times build character and makes me mentally strong.  There is a lesson to be learned in every round. Realizing this is going to help me succeed at both the high school and collegiate level.  I am always open to feedback and looking to make myself a better golfer. Academically, I am taking honors and will be taking dual enrollment classes, working to maintain a 4.0 GPA.  The work ethic I have built on the course is transferred to the classroom, which will give me a strong foundation for college. At this time, I am interested in pursuing a business degree to give me a wide range of career options.  I am looking forward to playing in college and continuing both my academic and my golf journey.
