Aaron Howell '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a student athlete maintaining a 3.5 GPA while playing JV basketball and Varsity Golf. My coaches, teachers, and peers have described me as a leader and an open-minded student. My hobbies and volunteer activities outside of golf and school include teaching financial literacy to my community, studying stock trading, member of CEOs of Tomorrow, assisting youth at Excel Golf Inc., and business operations.   

I maintained full-time honor roll student status for 4 years. I stopped playing basketball after my sophomore year to focus 100% on golf. My senior and junior year I was team captain winning 1^st place for best high school senior in the PG County 2021 championship golf tournament. As a sophomore, I led the team to place 2^nd in the PG County division championships. At the same time, I also won 3^rd place for best high school sophomore in the PG County 2019 championship golf tournament.

I have played in other golf leagues to include Under Armor Jr. PGA, First Tee, PG County Jr. PGA, Excel Golf, and Morehouse Golf Classic. I also own a successful business in the shoe reselling industry since 2019. I enjoy providing excellence customer service to my customers and pride myself on successfully resolving any issues.  

I believe I will be a strong asset to the university or college golf program of my choice. After graduation not only will I be a great golfer, I also plan teaching financial literacy and investing to teenagers so they will not be in debt when they become adults.
