Nicholas Samaha '23 Recruiting Profile

Golf is a piece of me I’ve had for my entire life. Being blessed enough to grow up with a course in my backyard has built in a 12 year muscle memory of a golf swing that I continue to try to improve every day. From working my way from PGA Junior League Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona at the age of 12 to becoming a four year Varsity starter, I’ve loved and cherished every second of it. I believe I stand out because of the feel for the game I have inside of 100 yards. I know my ability to hit delicate pitches, read greens and make putts separates me from the rest of golfers because that’s what the game comes down to. Everyone is going to hit good shots at some point and have birdie and par looks, it’s just about who makes the most. Putting is without a doubt the strongest part of my game, something I’ve always felt was a weapon for me ever since I began to fall in love with golf. The support of both of my parents and Atkinson Country Club where I’m a member have allowed me to access numerous facilities and opportunities that have allowed me to work on my game year round, even in the Northeast.
