While many of my peers haven't even begun to think about their lives after high school, I am fortunate enough to have been blessed with a clear career path that I see ahead of me. My drive to become the best golfer I can be is one of the biggest aspects of my life and I am prepared and excited to see where the journey takes me. While friends are out having fun, I always find myself on the golf course chasing my dream. I am destined to become an elite golfer.
I first started playing golf at just five years old. The moment I hit my first ball; I was obsessed. I began playing and practicing nearly every day as I began to fall more in love with the sport. As a sophomore in high school, I tied for second place with a 76, one off the lead in the Cape and Islands Championship at Willowbend Country Club. Just recently as a junior, I tied for second place in the same tournament with a 75. There is no doubt in my mind that I will win the tournament next year as a senior.
My entire educational career has been leading up to what is now less than two years away. Spending the extra time and effort on schoolwork is something that I have always valued, and my excellent grades in honors and AP classes show for all my hard work. I am a very extroverted person, which has made me a natural leader in most activities I am involved in. I am also a very coachable person, and I believe that the right coach could help me take my game to a level I never thought possible. Most of my golf game has been self-taught, so I know that there is lots of unreached potential in my golf game. My drive and passion for the game of golf will take me very far in life. I am very excited to be in contact with coaches, and step into a new chapter in my life.
