Coaches,Three years ago I decided that I wanted to playing golf seriously.From the age of 4 I had always played hockey and baseball and ended up being on travel teams for both sports from the age of 7 until I decided to switch to golf at the age of 13; For the past 3 years Ive been working to improve my game by taking lessons at the Kendall Academy, playing on my high school golf team and playing in as many tournaments as I could during the summer and fall.months I think it is important for a person to be both involved in team sports as well as individual sports,By playing golf Ive learned a great deal about self-confidence and motivation.From hockey and baseball Ive learned about sharing, communication, teamwork and camaraderie. All of these have been very important lessons that have made me a better athlete.Concerning my golf goals I was initially hoping to make the high school golf team as a freshman, which I did.Then, as a sophomore I wanted to make the varsity team, which I did.Now that Im in my Junior year my goal is to become one of the top golfers on the Brighton High School team and help my team win the KLAA Championship,Districts, Regionals and States.During the 2014 summer months I will continue to play in AJGA events as well as other junior tour events for the Adams Tour working to improve my score and knowledge of the game of Golf.
