Playing collegiate golf has been the main focus over the last three years. Starting last year, I started significantly putting in increased effort and time dedicated to golf. Last Summer, my love for the game of golf grew exponentially. Furthering my golf game and playing at a collegiate level is immensely important to me. There is a wide variety of strengths that I would bring to any team, and any college or university. I would consider my top strength is be a top-notch teammate. Pushing teammates to their very best, and helping them achieve their goals is something that I hold in high regard.
Being a teammate is equally as important to me as competing solo. Teaching my brother and other underclassmen to improve their mechanics is a top priority for me. As I help others, I can find my own golf game improving exponentially. During the Spring, Summer, and Fall, I spend countless hours on our community golf course. Some days, I may play as many as thirty-six holes a day!
Even though I enjoy helping others, working on my own game is my top priority. Whether it’s working on my swing, or studying courses, you can always find me working on my game. Besides my actual golf ability, there are other things I can contribute. My positive and outgoing personality is a terrific asset I bring to any team. This personality I have developed helps me stay upbeat in any situation. Being upbeat helps me keep a positive mental game!
My academic strength is something I take great pride in! I pride myself on my strong work ethic, as I get assignments done on time. Throughout high school, I have taken a variety of classes, earning top grades in every class. I have enjoyed taking classes ever since I was young. Since my Junior year, I have been dual-enrolling in college through Bay de Noc Community College. My golf game, my ability to improve, and my dedication will make me a terrific player!
