June 2015Personal Statement
I really enjoy golf and have been golfing since I was able to swing a club. I have participated in the Lake Michigan Junior Golf Tour. I am on the Mona Shores Varsity golf team. You can find me 7 days a week either on the range/putting green or on the course. My lowest 9 hole score is 35 and lowest 18 hole score is 75. The best part of my game is chipping and putting. I'm a hard worker and I hope to continue improving as a student first and golfer second. I'm a team player'
My grade point average is currently a 2.8 and next year I will be taking 3 AP courses to raise my GPA. I took the ACT this year and I got an 20. I will be taking the ACT again in the summer. This summer I will be testing out of my math class so I can get ahead in math also.
Not only am I becoming a better golfer I am also becoming a better student so that I can attend the school that fits my dreams and career aspirations which are to become a business man. My profile will be expiring in a couple of months and I would like to say I played yesterday 2/21/16 at the Highlands in Grand Rapids, Mi. and shot a 2 over par 74. I know with hard work and dedication it will only get better.
Yesterday 3/15/16 I had my best round ever. Shot a 1 under par 71 in a practice round at Muskegon Country Club the site for US Amateur qualifying and my home course.
4/18/16 First tournament of the year 18 holes Egypt Valley Ada, Mi. shot 73 one over par for 3rd place. 1st shot 70, and 2nd shot 71. Total of 110 players in the field 22 teams.
