Michael Wenzl '13 Recruiting Profile

I have become a goal oriented individual which I applied to my golf game in 2011. At the start of the 2011 high school golf season, I created a goal of Improving my game by 10 strokes, become the most improved player on the team and earn my varsity letter. I accomplished all of my goals for the season and was even named All-Conference in the Kensington Lakes Athletic Association. Building further on goal setting, I set forth the goal of winning an Adams Tour Tournamet whichI did with a 76 at Walnut Hills Country Club in East Lansing, Michigan. I plan to set more goals and improve every aspect of my golf game in 2012. I achieved a 39 match average in the 2012 Vareity Season and an 80 average in tournament paly. I started the summer tournament season with a 75 at an Adams Tour evevent at Michigan State University. As I look to play golf in college, I can offer a team the same hard work and determination that have allowed me to reach my high school goals. I look forward to accomplishing more of my long term goals by playing for a college golf program in the Central or Eastern regions of the United States that also offers a strong academic environment.
