As a child, I always wanted to play sports at a collegiate level. I've been successful in the classroom throughout my high school career. From being on the honor roll, taking AP classes, and dual enrolling at a local community college all while staying at the top end of my class with a 4.2 GPA. My commitment and determination in the classroom translate to athletics. While playing two sports simultaneously I stayed focused and made sure that I did not miss practice for either team. Not missing practices wasn't just for me, but also for my teammates, especially the underclassmen who model the actions of their more experienced teammates. Although there was doubt in my commitment to both teams by my teammates, they saw how committed I was after the first week of practices. The effort and focus in every drill, day after day, showed my commitment to my teammates and coaches. This focus and commitment not only to practices but also to the classroom are what make me different from other recruits and make me a great fit for any collegiate team.
