I first started playing golf when I was seven years old and fell in love with the game. I soon knew that I wanted to play college level golf. I am a hard worker on and off the golf course. I know if I play college golf, it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would not take it for granted.
Over the years that I have been playing golf, I have gained a lot of experience. I have had good and not so good tournaments, and I have learned how to handle myself in all situations and how to handle defeat when i haven't played as well as i expected. On my first year playing high school golf, the coach was really excited to have me on the team. I was No.3 on Varsity and set a school record for most wins (3) by a freshman. I had some highlights and some disappointments during the year, but I am always looking to the future and never in the past.
In school, I am very outgoing and never stop at adequate work. I try as hard as i can and do the best I can. I feel that since I play golf all year round, it gives me motivation to strive and excel in school. School comes first before golf for me.
My goal is to play college golf and be the best golfer on the course and the best student in the classroom. I feel that I have special qualities that other golfers don't have. If I get to play college golf, I feel that it will teach me life lessons and teach me to be a better person, and I would take great pride in it while making my family proud.
