My name is Brandt White and I would say I am my coaches best choice for the team anchor, meaning that I am the last person to finish a 9 or 18 hole round as I have more pressure whether our team is down by just 1 stroke or just pressure from everybody watching, he likes to compliment my mental toughness in this sport called golf because I can keep my head in the game and cancel out all my distractions and focus on the next shot walking up to the ball. I would also like to mention that I am a pretty exciting person whether it is golf or other things outside of school and sports. I really like the idea of getting a scholarship to a school whether it is D1, D2, D3 etc. personally getting into a school that can educate me on owning a business is also helpful for me because of my interest in becoming a barber. What makes me different from other recruits? Well, I can definitely say I am not the smartest person or the sharpest axe but I'm dedicated in the change, I have to blame my early years of middle/high school because I seemed to not care, I'm willing to change and make a better version of myself. My GPA seems to look like a problem but this year I've passed all of my classes and showed more interest and it's like I'm finally realizing graduating high school is my best option for my future self because I have many more opportunities to become somebody other people never expected me to be.
