Optimistic by nature, I am developing the ability to persevere, regardless of the circumstance. You can count on my work ethic to lead the way, always willing to work hard for the team, by working hard with the team. The team is everything, the sum of its parts. I love the fact that the game of golf is similar to that team thought, individual aspects of the game are important, yet the sum of all the parts are needed to score. My effort in the classroom equals that of my effort on the course. My GPA is 4.0 (4.25 weighted) and I received a score of 35 on the ACT. My strengths in the classroom are math and science. My strengths on the golf course are short game and my even temperament. I love to practice at the Braemar GC short course, learning creativity around the greens with consistent practice and growing confidence. This spring during the high school season, I have been able to get my tournament scoring average down to 74.15. I cannot wait to continue my golf career in college and build on what I have already accomplished, see how good I can get and where it can take me. I dedicate time and effort by working with PGA Professional Brent Snyder, Director of Instruction at Troy Burne GC. He has received numerous awards as a teacher from Golf Digest and is also an accomplished player, the 2020 MN PGA Player of the Year. Our work together began this past summer, typically our time is spent on course, talking course management and finding ways to get the ball in the hole faster.
