September 2017 Personal Statement
Rob Harry the golf pro at Minnesota Valley Country Club put a golf club in my hand when I was four years old and I am still hitting balls at this golf course today. From there, I went onto play for Minnesota Junior PGA, U.S. Kids Golf tournaments, and Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT). Eventually, this lead to playing on the Edina High School Varsity golf team as a sophomore. We went to State and earned third place as a team. For the last few years I continued to play golf. Working with a great golf coach, John Means. My new goal is to play golf at the collegiate level. I am confident that I have the ability to play college golf. I have been working on different parts of my game to prepare myself for the next level. The one thing I have is the ability to work hard and never give up no matter the situation. I think what sets me apart from other players is that I have fun on the golf course, to me it is not all about winning and losing, I enjoy the game.

- This was a two day event. Joe shot 72-76. +4 total for two days. This was the strongest field of the year. The average score among the field was 79. The course played at 6800 yards, par 72, rating 73.4 slope 141

- Joe tied for 2nd shooting 73. The course is a par 71 and played 7100 yards with a slope of 141 and a rating of 75.1. this is a very tough course that suits long hitters. Joe played very well in this event hitting most of the fairways off the tee.

- 6/16/17 to 6/16/17
- Joe shot a 70 (-2) in this qualifier for the Boy Jr PGA event. He tied for 3rd place. Keller played at 6700 yards, par 72, rating 72.2, slope 133. Joe was consistent off the tee and putted well.

- Joe shot a 78 tied for 2nd place. Par 72, 6600 yards, 124 slope, 71.4 rating. Struggled with his putting.
