Kurt Lambert '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kurt Lambert and I am a senior at Heritage Christian Academy in Maple Grove, Minnesota. I love the game of golf and have been playing it since I was 2 years old.  I am a very coachable athlete and am always striving to improve my game whenever I can.  I have taken strokes off my game every year I have played competitively,  which I feel is my greatest accomplishment. I also realize that playing good golf is more than just talent and that it takes a lot of mental strength too. When I was very young my hopes were to play college and professional golf someday. I am a hard worker both on the golf course and in school. I like the idea of college golf because I enjoy being on a team. I like to be a leader as well and to help boost the energy of teammates. One of my strongest assets is being a good friend and helping with team morale. I am also our school's mascot! I was honored at the end of the 2017 season to be selected Team Captain for my 2018 junior year season, where I placed 7th in the State Tournament. I was again elected Team Captain for my senior year. I worked at a golf course last summer and have also volunteered at PGA Champions Tour events in the Twin Cities. I know that with my knowledge of the game and work ethic both on and off the course that I would be a good candidate for recruiting. Thank you.
