Will Smith said “No matter how talented you are, your talent will fail you, if you’re not skilled. Skill is achieved through practice. Work hard and dedicate yourself to being better every single day.” I love golf. At 8 years old, my dad would strap my bag to his, and we would walk 9 holes every chance we got. I practice hard. This summer, my handicap dropped tremendously. I am thankful and honored to have been chosen by Tom Sieckmann to be a student in his Great Golf Expectations program, where I have had approximately 6 formal professional lessons.
I am proud to say that I believe my best asset, aside from my work ethic, is my level head on the course. I believe it is my work ethic and level head that keep me in the mix every time I compete. I believe it is my relatively raw coaching/lesson experience that sets me apart from the competition. I have so much more to learn and give, and I can’t wait to do so.
I am a three-sport athlete, earning varsity letters in every golf, tennis and basketball season except my freshman basketball season. Each summer, along with competitive golf, I play AAU basketball. I also enjoy snowboarding, fishing and being outdoors.
