My name is Luke Swanson and I am a 2027 golfer. I began competitively golfing when I was ten, however I had always loved the game since I was three. I grew up playing many sports to fill my need for competition. These included golf, basketball, baseball, ski racing, track, and cross country. Recently I have been focusing on just golf, track, and cross-country. My goal is to compete collegiately and set myself up for success later in life. I am a very hardworking person and also super competitive. These traits allow me to not only set goals, but also hold myself accountable to work towards them and achieve them. Running has taught me how to challenge myself and stay consistent in training. This has translated over to my golf and has helped me improve more than in the past. Besides athletics I also take pride in my academics. I completed my freshman year with all As and continue to hold straight As in my sophomore year with both Honors and AP classes. I plan to continue improving and achieving the goals I set for myself to be able to compete at the highest level of competition.
