Larry "LJ" Georgetti '11 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a senior at St Augustine Prep in Richland, New Jersey, and in spite of a challenging high school curriculum I have maintained a GPA of an unweighted 3.4/4.0 all while keeping my golf scores consistent. I was named All Conference Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year. Also Freshman and Junior year I was named third team All-State. My resume may seem slightly behind and that is because, early last summer I broke two bones in my ankle and had to undergo surgery. This injury kept me from playing golf last summer and fall. Since then, I have worked hard at rehabbing through physical therapy and also with a golf specific trainer. This has granted me a full recovery and made me a stronger player. I am very interested in a school that is on the East Coast, and can offer a great and challenging Academic Program possibly in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine, Exercise Sciences program, or Business. However, I haven't made a final decision on my major and I am still willing to explore other options. Lastly, I would like to be part of a golf team that will allow me to make an early contribution.
