Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Zachary Battiste, a rising freshman at Magnet High School in Scotch Plains, NJ and an avid Golfer. I am a straight A student and have need nominated for many awards such as the Paul Robeson Award and the NAACP Overachievers Award. My love for the sport started at the age of 10 and I have been addicted to the sport ever since. My goal is to get a full-ride scholarship and to play at the Elite College level and reduce the weight of finances on my father. I currently play at West 9 First Tee in Plainfield, NJ and also play in the PGA Jr. League. I believe I am a good candidate for a college team because I work hard, am a team player, and will never give up and always strive to keep improving.
