Personal Statement
Puring a 3-wood after a great drive, and seeing the ball roll onto the green for an Eagle chance is why I play the game. I improved my 18-hole tournament score by 5 strokes since last season and continue to develop by receiving coaching and executing direction. As a freshman at Los Alamos High School, I earned the co-captain position on the varsity golf team because I encourage my teammates, remain level-headed, and set a good example on and off the course. I balance practicing golf daily and completing quality work in higher-level courses. I look forward to finding a college golf team who will share a superior standard for athletics and academics.
