Hi Coach,
My name is Ryan Kayton. I am a 5'10 and 198lbs. I have a 3.67 weighted GPA. I presently attend Half Hollow Hills High School in Dix Hills, NY. I started out as a freshman playing on a Varsity team. I continue to grow both physically and mentally throughout my high school. I have demonstrated leadership and positive character contributions to my team.
Golf has been a huge part of my life. I am presently involved in the MET PGA Drive, Chip, and Putt Program. Currently, I am employed part-time at a local Long Island golf course. In addition, I intern for the MET PGA Drive, Chip, and Putt Program.
I participate in various golf tournaments through the Metropolitan PGA Chapter. I would like to share with you an event that I am very proud of. In the summer of 2017, I played in the Town of Huntington Tournament at Crab Meadow Golf Course. I came in 2nd place. It was a great feeling to hold the trophy in my hand and to have my picture taken for the local newspaper.
I continue to look forward to balancing my educational success with my life on the golf course. I am interested in Political Science, as well as Sports Marketing. I have spent my time perfecting my golf skills through practice and spending my time with PGA golf professional lessons. This fall I will participate in the Kelly Brooke Golf Channel Player Development Program at Bethpage State Park. I will be a member of the Elite Black Team. My tournaments will expose me to college coaches like yourself and help me compete at the highest levels. The tournaments include the Hurricane Tour and PGA New York MET Chapter. The academy will support me in my skill development, physical fitness and mental aspect of competition. My diligent work ethic and sportsmanship will be an asset to your college and team. Most importantly, I will continue to be a leader and carry myself through confidence, dedication, respect on and off the golf course. Please contact me for swing videos.
