I began golfing at the age of four with my grandfather. And have continued to golf since that time. I enjoy golf in my spare time, as well as competitively in tournaments. My hope is to golf in college and hopefully beyond that. I believe golf has taught me patience, dedication, perseverance and the drive to finish.
I currently help my brother, age 11, and his friends in learning the game of golf. They are golfing in DJGA tournaments this year. I love the game of golf and will continue to volunteer my time helping younger kids to learn the game of golf as well as the proper mechanics for achieving their best scores while playing golf.
I have worked very hard in school to maintain the grades I have. I started school in Title Reading classes and am proud to say that I have a 3.2 GPA starting my Senior year. I believe I would be a good fit for a team looking for someone who has determination and drive to be their personal best. I am goal oriented and have a deep faith that drives me to always be my best. I have not had the chance to have individual coaching, so I look forward to golfing in college with experienced coaches to help develop my natural abilities.
I have been playing in Dakota Junior Golf tournaments since the age of ten and have won many of those tournaments. I was the DJGA point champion for my age division in 2014, 2015, and 2016. I have been on the Varsity golf team for Saint Mary’s Central High School since my Freshman year. My sophomore year I assisted our golf team to take third in state. I was All Conference for the West Region in high school golf this year. And I was #9 All State this year. I am also proud to say that I took 1st for my age division in the James Maher Memorial Tournament this year. When I am not golfing I can be found on the ice playing hockey for Century High School. I will start my Senior year at St. Mary’s as an Assistant Chaplain and look forward to another year of golf before I graduate.
