I have played golf for as long as I can remember. From a young age I have been addicted to the process of getting better. Golf has consumed a majority of my life.
I got my first hole in one when I was 11 years old at the Tioga Country Club. I have had three more since, one at my High School State Championship when I was a 7th grader, and two at my home course, The Links of North Dakota.
I have been on the varsity golf team since I was in 7th grade, and have golfed the top spot in all but my first tournament. I have received the team MVP award all 6 years I have played. I made the all state team each of my last four years, 2014-2017. I won conference and regional championships my sophomore, junior, and senior years. I also lead my team to a regional championship in 2016 and 2017, as well as a runner up finish the year before. In 2017, my senior year, I won our Class B State Championship by 5 strokes, and helped lead my team to the team to a 13 stroke victory as well.
I have been a member at The Links of North Dakota since the spring of 2013. I have logged over 400 rounds, as well as countless hours spent on the practice facilities. I have expirence as a employee at The Links as well. I was the club champion in 2015, and held my title again in 2016.
I have been a member of the AJGA since 2015. I won my first AJGA event I played in, a qualifier in Minnesota in the fall of 2015. I have played in 7 total AJGA events, and have had some success. My strongest finish in a AJGA tournament so far is t-13 at the AJGA Coca-Cola junior championship, where I shot a tournament low 67 in the final round to jump 25 spots. I am currently looking forward to playing in the AJGA Senior Showcase in December in Las Vegas, Nevada.
My goals for collegiate golf are to be a part of a program that will benefit my drive to get better. My plans for college is to get a degree in business, so I can one day become a course professional. My ultimate goal has always been to pursue professional golf.
I think I can benefit a team as someone who works hard. I have been a leader on my high school golf team since I was in 7th grade, and have helped my teammates improve their game the same way I have. I have a winner's mentality, and want to see others achieve success with me.
