Golf has already taught me so much about patience, self-discipline, and goal-setting that I hope to continue playing this wonderful game into college. Growing up on the golf course, I have always been a consistent player. I am continuing to improve my short game and I have benefitted from private coaching since early junior high school. In my first 2 years of high school golf, I have played as the number 1 varsity golfer (sophomore year) and number 2 varsity golfer (freshman year) for Beavercreek High School (Ohio). In 2023, I had the lowest scoring average of any freshman in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC). I finished in the top 15 for individual scoring average in GWOC in 2023. I finished in the top 5 for individual scoring average in GWOC in 2024. I qualified for districts as an individual my Sophomore Year. I was all Southwest Ohio District team honorable mention team (Division 1). Also in 2024, I had a number of top 3 finishes in junior events hosted by the Southern Ohio PGA and top 20 finishes in a number of events hosted by Golfweek. Whether playing in practice, matches, or tournaments, I try to bring a positive and coachable attitude to my team and my game. In addition to golf, I volunteer as an aide in my high school's special needs classrooms and I am a type 1 diabetic youth ambassador for Breakthrough T1D (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Lastly, I will be reliable with my eligibility as I am a very hard worker in the classroom and I get all my work done on time. With all that to say, I look forward to hearing from someone within your program! Thank you for your time!
