Gavin Clark '24 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was tall enough to swing a club, I have been hitting golf balls around the yard and playing closest to the pin. I play as much and as often as I can. Each summer for the past six years I have played golf in organized tournaments. This tournament play has relaxed my nerves, greatly improved my skills, and prepared me for high school matches each fall. This mental toughness plus hours of practice have led to winning sectionals, districts, and success at our State tournament. Last year I finished 10th in the State Tournament, my junior year. I pride myself on being coachable to get better and I do my best to help develop teammates. My dream is to be surrounded by other ambitious athletes driven by the thrill of perfecting their game as we compete together in golf at the highest level.  I am on the hunt for an opportunity to play next-level golf under the advisement of a passionate, knowledgeable coach while earning a degree. My inner drive and passion to keep succeeding in this sport is second to none. Thank you for considering me for your golf program.
