I want to play college golf because I love playing golf and would like to continue to compete while pursuing a college degree. I think my excellence in the classroom and high character would make me a valuable member of a college golf team. I continue to try to challenge myself academically by taking more Honors and AP classes while striving to maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA. I believe through being a leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group at my school and starting my own golf outing that has raised over $55,000 for First Tee Greater Miami Valley I have demonstrated strong leadership. I also believe that my good grades and running my golf outing shows that I will take the responsibility to maintain good grades and put the time into improving as a golfer.
