My name is Cory Gasaway. I live in a small town in Ohio called Mogadore, about 20 minutes from Akron. I would like to continue my academic and athletic career to a higher more competitive level after High School. I am currently a junior at Mogadore High School. I have been on the Mogadore varsity golf team for the past three years. I have also been playing golf since I was 10 with 3 years of competitive experience. My handicap right now is a 4.3 in the USGA handicap. I have played in many tournaments associated with The Nothern Ohio PGA. I will join and start playing in AJGA tournmanets this summer of 2020. My desire is to obtain a scholarship at a D1 or D2 college and to lower my handicap to 0. Golf has taught me many things such as keeping a good and strong mental attitude, focusing on the next shot, focusing on what's in front of you and not what is in the past. This game has also taught me patience. Lastly and most importantly this game has taught me respect. I look forward to speaking to you regarding my future desires.
