I recently graduated from Springboro High School in Springboro, Ohio in 2021. I had been playing on their golf team for three years. I played on second varsity for a year, and for the past two years I have been on varsity. Ever since I was very little I have been playing the game of golf and found it to be my passion.
Over the past few summers I have been playing in the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Junior Tour, and last year I was third for Player of the year. The year before I was second.
This past high school season I had my best season yet, and I hope to improve even further. Throughout my senior year, I was consistently the number two player on our varsity team. I was the number two behind the state champion for Ohio in 2020. My tournament average was a 76.
Due to current family circumstances, I have found it necessary to take a gap year. I will be taking classes at a community college. During this time, I will be working on my game, and sharpening my skills.
My goal is to continue to grow and improve as a golfer. I would like to be somewhere I can thrive both athletically as well as academically, because both are important to me. I believe playing golf at the collegiate level will allow me to grow athletically, academically, and as a person.
