I am very committed to golf and would love to be able to play at a collegiate level. However, as important athletics is, academics is more important than athletics. I have improved my game in a short amount of time and I have consistently reduced my stroke average through the years to the point where now I have been able to be in contention in many of my recent tournaments. Maintaining my goals academically and athletically required time management, dedication, and a lot of hard work. The goals I had academically were met, as seen in my GPA and that I have been a scholar athlete during both my seasons. I am fortunate to have parents and a sister that I know will support me for anything I do. They have taught me many lessons that I think about everyday and I know they will be in my best interest at all times. For the future, I am looking for a college that is strong academically and has a golf team that is right for me. I will put full efforts into the golf program and represent my school to the best of my abilities. I personally believe that I am capable of being able to compete at a collegiate level.
