Lincoln Stafford '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lincoln Stafford. My passion for the game of golf began at the age of 10. I didn’t know much about the game when my dad took me to my first lesson in the Spring of 2020, but I will never forget the satisfying feeling of my first pure iron strike. That feeling is one of the many reasons I love the game of golf and dedicate so much time to improving my game.  I also love that golf is as mentally challenging as it is physically challenging. Whether it's waking up early to hit the driving range before school or strategizing a plan for the course at the next tournament, it’s always exciting.

I am committed to pushing myself to be the best golfer I can be. I am also dedicated to my academic success. Balancing advanced placement courses while maintaining a high GPA is important to me.

As I think about my future, the prospect of playing golf at the collegiate level excites me like nothing else. I’m eager to be part of a team that shares my values of hard work, discipline, and integrity. My goal is to keep growing, both as a golfer and as a student, and I’m committed to making the most of every opportunity, whether on the course or in the classroom. I’m excited to see where my passion and determination will lead me.
