Hi, my name is Cooper Bunce. I was 6 years old the first time my dad took me to the course and I started playing for fun. At age 11 I decided to take the game more seriously and wanted to pursue the opportunity to play at a competitive level. I‘m currently a member of the Oklahoma Junior Golf Association. As a Junior, I’m on the Piedmont High School Varsity Golf team. I take lessons from PGA Certified Golf Professional, Tosh Hayes at Oak Tree Golf Club. A few of my best qualities is my ability to be a positive team mate, I'm a good leader and I'm open to constructive criticism. I am a perfectionist, so I don't give up easily and I'm extremely determined to do my best. I show up to every practice, no matter what sport, ready to work hard from start to finish. I practice like I play. I’m highly motivated to play at the next level after high school and I’m willing to do what it takes to succeed. An interesting fact about me, I'm a lefty by nature but I play right handed! When I'm not at the course I'm chipping and driving balls on our 10 acre property daily. I'm a pretty well rounded athlete as I also play starting center on my varsity football team. In addition to sports I enjoy fishing and hunting. I look forward to future conversations with potential colleges about opportunities to further my golf career at the next level!
