My name is Michael Ciraco. I am from Toronto, Canada. I have been playing golf since I was 5. I have always had a passion for the sport and have dreamed about playing collegiate golf since I first picked up a club. I am consistently pushing myself as I am driven to be the best athlete that I can be. I am very self motivated and rarely find myself not thinking about ways to improve all aspects of my golf game. I am a very attentive listener and will use all knowledge that my coach and other professionals have to offer me. I am a very determined student- athlete. While competing a very high level of club and high school sports I have been able to maintain a 90%+ average through my first two years of high school. I have won numerous academic awards and have had a poem that I wrote published by the United Nations (UNICEF).
I am very excited about the possibility of playing collegiate golf and will do whatever it takes to reach my final goal. I work hard at the course (5 times a week avg.) and in the classroom as I believe being a well rounded student- athlete is the best way to achieve success.
I plan to major in business while attending college.

- High-school golf team won regional tournament and now moves on to provincials. Played the anchor match and helped secure a 2 stroke victory over the defending Champs.

- I have recently completed a CJGA national tournament. It was played at King Riding G.C in King City, Ontario. I shot 74/80 over the two rounds and placed T-3 in U19 divisipn. The course played difficult on the second day as the scoring average over the field was approximately 87 (due to wind and tricky pin locations). As my season continues it is becoming more evident of my desire to play collegiate golf.

Earned all conference honors and team MVP award for this golf season for having lowest scoring average. (75) Also ranked top ten in overall conference rankings for high school golf season as a junior
