I have been golfing since the age of eight, this great game started off as a simple hobby. By the age of eleven, I was at the golf course all the time and I had fallen in love. When I had completed my during my second season of competitive golf, I began setting my sights on playing at the college level ever since then it has been my number one goal.
I pride myself on academics first, whilst maintaining a very high GPA, I always giving maximum effort in the classroom just as I would on the golf course. I have been an honour roll student throughout elementary and high school, receiving my elementary school’s award for the head male student in my graduating class. This award is proficiency in academics, athletics, leadership, and initiative around I also participate in many initiatives throughout the community, being a part of youth mentorships summer camps with young kids and leading events around my high school.
As I would in the classroom, I approach every day on the course as a learning opportunity, hoping to better my golf game as well as myself as a person, no matter if I'm playing my best ever round or really struggling. I believe I would be an asset to any collegiate golf team as I pride myself in being a strong leader and someone who always tries to lead by example on the course, at school, and in the community.
I want to attend college at a school which is the best fit for me academically, athletically, and as a person. I am open to any school where my values are just important to the school as they are to me, high achievement in the classroom and high competition levels on the course. I hope to one day achieve success at the collegiate level for golf and make my family proud.
