I am a natural athlete that has an interest in playing many different sports and excel when I do play them. I've also competed in diving and snowboarding events in my earlier years before committing myself to golf. I have a large capacity for work knowing it takes practice to get better at my craft.
I became interested in golf when I was 10 years old as I wanted to spend more time with my Dad. This led to my keen interest in getting better at golf and I having been playing golf at a high commitment level since the 8th grade. I have had some of the most rewarding success here in the Great White North winning the junior club championship at The National Golf Club of Canada, where I am a junior member and winning the Men’s Club Championship at my home course, The Country Club (ClubLink).
I am a fairly responsible 17 year old. I am also a coach and teacher with a lot of patience. This comes from taking care of my younger brother with autism. Watching my brother struggle to learn new skills and breaking them down so he can understand them has helped me become a great teacher.
I have been very fortunate to have travelled to many places in the US to play golf - Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and New York! They have all been great experiences but my most favourite place to play golf is Arizona because the scenery and conditions in the desert are amazing!
I am looking forward to playing golf at a college/university level with the aspirations of one day making it onto a professional tour, all while completing my education.
