One of my dreams as a golf athlete is to make it on the PGA Tour and win a regular season event. I have already started preparing for this dream mentally and physically. Mentally, I have prepared myself to win a regular season tournament as I visualize every moment in the the tournament from the start of the week where I am preparing for the four day tournament, to getting my invitation to the Masters... Also I have planned my Championship dinner menu. Physically, I am preparing myself for this dream as I wake up every day motivated and concentrate during every golf session, every workout, and every shot I am about to execute.
Another dream is I want to be compared to Rickie Fowler. Since 2012 when I first saw Rickie in his Sunday OSU orange I knew I wanted to be compared to him. I enjoy dressing colourfuly and standing out in golf tournaments. Rickie has given back to the game in multiple ways and I vision young golfers standing behind the ropes watching me while dressing exactly like I do.
My most important goal is to bring my tournament scoring average down to 75 or lower for 2014. After my first year of tournament golf I am starting to understand the mental concept of golf. I am working hard to improve myself mentally during the winter months so I will be prepared mentally and physically for the 2014 tournament season.
My second most important goal that is on my mind every day is I am going to be on a college golf team and lead the team to a tournament victory. I consider myself to be a team leader and enjoy pushing my teammates to work at their best ability. I am not only a leader when my team is in a positive situation I also help my teammates when difficult situations occur. I am going to be a leader my team no matter what it takes and I will push myself and my teammates to victory.
