Winning back to back regional high school championships in grade 10 and 11 and being selected team MVP has been a huge part of my golf career. Not only did these back to back championships help build my confidence they were character builders as well. As Captain of my high school golf team, my role is to be a leader and mentor for the younger / less experienced teammates. I always try to lead by example in an effort to lead us to win.
I became interested in golf when I was 8 years old. My dad took me to the driving range at his golf course. The following year I joined the junior performance team and started competing in regular mini-tour events.
Golf has taught me so much about hard work and perseverance. It was through hard work that recently I was 1 of 7 U19 boys selected to the Provincial High-Performance Team.
Academically I am looking to pursue my studies in the field of Business or Architecture and Design as well as succeed athletically. I am looking for a school that will allow me to study in this field while playing golf at the highest competitive level.
I am a confident and outgoing person who can bring leadership and a competitive spirit to your golf team.
